These are the frequently asked questions I get about my art and commissions. If you have a question, please read the Q&A carefully before contacting me with your questions.
Please be patient with my answers if your question is not answered here. I'm a busy guy with a life, and can't answer 100% of the time.If you are confused by an answer, please contact me on Curious Cat, Twitter, or Tumblr.
Q: Why are your prices so high?A: The price directly correlates to the time each style takes me. A sketch is cheap because it could take roughly about 30-40 minutes to complete, whereas a full colored piece could take me weeks.
Q: Why isn't my commission done? / Why is my commission taking so long?A: There are multiple possibilities for why your commission isn't finished.
1) I have a backlog of commissions I have to do, and you're further down the list.
2) You commissioned a full-color piece. These could take either a few days or a few weeks depending on the context of the commission
Q: Why haven't you accepted my commission?A: Like the previous question, I have multiple reasons for not accepting a commission.
1) The commission is too complicated for my specific skills.
2) I haven't been paid after talking through a commission and setting a price.
3) The commission does not inspire me. This point may seem a bit insensitive, but to avoid burnout, I would much rather work on commissions I know I will enjoy.
4) No reference image has been provided.
Q: Why do I have to provide a reference image?A: I have minor Aphantasia. I cannot imagine images as well as the average person. I can somewhat see poses, but I can't imagine facial features/colors/general body anatomy.
I also need a reference for the character you want me to draw. I want to make sure the colors of your commission are as accurate to the character as possible.
Q: Do you offer refunds?A: If a commission has not been completed, I will offer a partial refund depending on the type of commission and how far I got into the commission.
I DO NOT offer refunds after a commission has been completed!
If I have not started on the commission, you may request a full refund.
Q: How many commission requests do you accept at a time?A: I accept 5-10 depending on the types of commissions I receive.
If you wish to be put on my waiting list, please email me during the period my commissions are closed.
Q: How do I commission you?A: When you commission me, I'd much prefer if you contact me on either Twitter or Tumblr during the Commission window.
If your commission will take more than 3 days, I'll give you my Discord and contact you further there.NOTE:
